3. No Attorney-Client Relationship Until Formally Engaged
Submitting an enquiry form, calling our helpline, or chatting with us on WhatsApp does not automatically establish an attorney-client relationship. A formal attorney-client relationship is only established when:
- A written engagement letter or retainer agreement has been signed by both parties, and
- The agreed professional fee or retainer has been received by us.
Until a formal engagement is confirmed in writing, any information shared with us during initial consultations should not be considered privileged legal advice.
4. Client Responsibilities

- Refrain from taking any legal action in your matter without consulting your assigned lawyer.
- Treat all QuickDivorce.in staff and lawyers with respect and professionalism.
Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate termination of services without any refund obligation.
5. Fees & Payment Terms
Our professional fees are discussed and agreed upon during the initial consultation. Fees vary depending on the nature, complexity, and jurisdiction of your case. The following general payment terms apply:
- An initial retainer or consultation fee may be charged before services commence.
- All fees are payable in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Additional costs such as court filing fees, stamp duty, notary charges, or travel expenses are billed separately and are the client's responsibility.
- Invoices are due within the period specified at the time of engagement.
- Delayed payments may result in a pause in legal services until outstanding dues are cleared.
All fee structures are transparent and communicated upfront — there are no hidden charges.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
- Free Consultation: No charge applies for initial free consultations. No cancellation fee.
- Retainer Fees: Retainer fees are partially refundable based on the work completed at the time of cancellation. The unearned portion, after deducting work done, may be refunded at our discretion.
- Court Filing Fees: Court filing fees, government charges, and third-party costs are non-refundable once incurred.
- Cancellation Notice: Clients wishing to disengage our services must provide written notice via email to info@quickdivorce.in.
